Workforce Development Workshops

Each workshop is designed as a half-day (three-hour) session and can be offered in the morning, afternoon, or evening. Workshops are informative, interactive and engaging. They include a variety of activities, handouts, group discussions, and instructor-led conversations. WLPEI will work with the employer or sponsoring organization to identify a convenient training location.

At Workplace Learning PEI, we acknowledge that the work we do, the learning we support, and the lives we build together take place on Epekwitk, part of Mi’kma’ki, the ancestral and unceded territory of the Mi’kmaq. The Epekwitnewaq Mi’kmaq have lived on and cared for this Island for more than 12,000 years. We honour the Peace and Friendship Treaties made with the Mi’kmaq. These Treaties remain living agreements and remind us that we are all Treaty People, with responsibilities to the relationships we share. As an organization committed to learning and growth, we recognize that reconciliation requires listening respectfully, building meaningful relationships, challenging what we think we know, and carrying that learning into how we work and live together on Epekwitk.
